Lenten Giving Campaign:
We are collecting Lenten sacrifice for those affected by the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. We encourage every parishioner to pick up a Lenent box, fill it with coins and bring it back by Palm Sunday, Sunday, April 2. The donations we receive will be sent to AVSI that has been steadily working in Syrian since 2015.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul:
The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVdP) is a network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships and service to people in need. The Society offers person-to-person service to people in need. On March 19, the second collection will be for the Sacred Heart Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The Society also has poor boxes at each entrance where you may drop a donation throughout the year.
AVSI:
AVSI is a nonprofit organization founded in 1972 that implements development and humanitarian aid projects in 38 countries and has helped 5 million people including over 20,000 children.
