Welcome to Sacred Heart!

Welcome to Sacred Heart Parish in East Boston. Our parish was founded in East Boston in 1873. In 1965, a fire destroyed Sacred Heart Church, however, through the dedication of parishioners, the Church was rebuilt in 1966 and continued to flourish.

Our Parish reflects the East Boston community—we are a melting pot of cultures: Italian, Vietnamese, El Salvadorean, Columbian and more! We celebrate Mass each week in English and Vietnamese.

Our parish is vibrant. Please visit our Parish Life page to learn more about our ministries.

If you are new to Sacred Heart Parish or looking to join, I invite you to attend a weekend service and register through our Online Registration page. I look forward to seeing you at Mass and Parish events!

In Christ,

Fr. Guy Sciacca
